About Us

Twin Oaks Intuitive Centre aims to provide people with new and alternative ways to look at their lives, as well as giving them new and very different experiences around horses. We aim to reach anyone who wants something a bit different in their lives, is looking for some direction or who simply love working with these beautiful animals. Through a medium of one to one interaction with horses we help individuals develop new skills and overcome obstacles that they may face in their personal and professional lives.

We offer horse riding lessons which are very different to the traditional form of riding as well as unique learning experiences with the horse as teacher, either on a 1 to 1 basis or as a group workshop.

This approach was inspired and developed as a result of years of experience working with horses and teaching people how to ride. Having witnessed the positive impact horses can have on someone’s life, we sought to provide a stimulating learning experience and together with experts in coaching and personal development we produced workshop and private one on one sessions based on techniques designed to benefit people by encouraging a new understanding of themselves from interaction with a horse.

Most of the horses that live at Twin Oaks initially came for some form of rehabilitation. This was often after all other avenues of care and treatment had been exhausted. However they got here they are all doing well and now have a permanent residency at Twin oaks where they work with people on many different levels. None of our horses are over worked and all have a special programme which ensures their needs are met at all times.

Whilst we have tried our best to put into words how we work with our horses and help people here at Twin oaks intuitive centre, we appreciate most of you won’t have heard about working with horses in this way. Everyone who has come and experienced this work agrees it is very hard to put into words as it is such a deep and personal experience.
