Twinoaks Intuitive Events for Spring - Book Now!

As we move closer to Spring and start to see glimpses of flower buds pushing out of the ground and the sun making more of an appearance, here at Twinoaks we are getting ready to spring into action. Yesterday really reflected this. The horses were in their element with the sun on their backs, giving each other a good groom, as they are all shedding their coats at this time of year, ready for the new season!!

We have many workshops happening here this year and would love to share them with you! We also offer private one on one sessions and bespoke sessions for groups, so please get in touch if you would like to discuss your requirements.

We attended the spirit of the millennium fair at Hove on Sunday 28th February and met some great people. We look forward to connecting up with some of you in the future! We were offering a prize draw on the day of a free Intuitive Horse session and are pleased to announce the winner is April Upson- congratulations!!

Below are some of the workshops/events planned for March and April

LADIES GROUP- THIS SATURDAY 6TH MARCH- This is a great two hours of spending time with horses and learning simple techniques to help you gain a greater awareness of your self . These two hour workshops are also a nice taster of how intuitive Horse works if you are thinking of having a private session. Cost is only £35!!

Intuitive Horse workshops - on these days we will be focusing on different ways of developing ourselves. These workshops are run by Emma Colyer and Janette Colloby.

21st March - spending the day with horses we work through self awareness techniques helping you to become more aware of how you feel and how to work with your emotions instead of against them.

28th March - Connecting to your heart through the spirit of the horse and nature. Allow the horse to help you deepen your connection with yourself.

17th April - Working on developing our own intuition with the horse guiding us.

25th April- Connecting to your heart through the spirit of the horse.

Our visiting practioners are running a number of workshops

Jo Rose is here again on the 2nd April. Jo gave her first afternoon workshop/demo at the beginning of February which was greatly received by all who came and proved to be very interesting. It was packed with information about kinesiology, herbs, and essential oils with all animals. Jo will be doing another one of these on Good Friday from 12 – 2.30pm. Following on from this Sophie Xi’zeta with Jo will be offering a healthy hedge herb walk for 45 mins (this is optional) If you would like to attend please get in touch and book your space now as places will be limited!

James French is back here on April 10/11th with his trust technique weekend. This is open to anyone and teaches you how to share feelings and build trust with animals. A good foundation for any training with an animal!

Now spring is here, Tai Chi with Horses is starting up again on April 12th and we're really looking forward to getting back into it! Sessions are on Monday mornings @ 11am for 1hour and run in 4 week terms. We are taking bookings for this now, please phone to secure your place. May 8th & 9th – Stable management course for the beginner. This 2 day workshop is for those wanting to become more familiar and competent around horses and gain knowledge for how to look after them.

Other News

Hi, we have many different activities on here from now till christmas and continuing into the new year! We hope to see you at some point, please feel free to ring us for a chat with any questions or ideas you may have, we are always willing to listen!

Intuitive Horse is constantly evolving and the horses as always are inspiring us and showing us new and different ways to work with them which of course we would like to share with you!! Aswell as having our regular 1-1 private sessions for 2 hours we are now introducing hourly sessions for those who have had a one hour session or been on an Intuitive Horse workshop before. The reason for this is that if you have done either of the afore mentioned you will have a certain level of understanding with our process with the horses which leads you into a session quicker.
We are holding a workshop at the end of the month, 28th November from 10.00-4.30, £150 for the day.

Tai Chi with horses, well we are in our second term now and the weather for the last 3 weeks has been glorious, outside with nature and the horses learning Tai chi on a monday morning at 11am is certainly a great way to start your week off. A form of gentle exercise which really helps you to centre yourself and learn about your body. Anyone is welcome to come and join us. We run the sessions for 4 weeks a term and a term costs £48 (which works out at £12 per session)

Ladies Group, we have had our first morning of this which proved to be very successful. We will be continuing with these, one on a week day and one on a sunday afternoon for those of you with work commitments in the week. It is a great 2 hours of learning and sharing with each other and the horses! We have also had a few comments asking where the men's group is. Men please inform us if you think you would like something like this so we can get an idea on numbers then we will happily arrange a group!!  Next 2 groups are being held on 22/11/09 and 13/12/09 from 1.00-3.00 please ring to book your space. As from January 2010 these groups will be held on the last sunday of each month.

Kids group. We are starting a kids group for under 12's on a monday afternoon from 4-5:15. cost is £8 per child. The children learn about how to interact and behave around horses, lots of fun and games with the horses!! Great for building confidence around animals.

Virginia de la pole joined the team last month and is sharing some of her expertise and wisdom in some energy master classes here.
We hold a fortnightly healing development group led by Virginia, the next evening is on 18th November cost is £6 per person. Everyone is welcome whether they have any healing experience or not.
Other dates for her workshops are as follows:

• Vegan lifestyle diet and cookery- Bringing spirit into the kitchen. Connecting with the consciousness of the produce including the sacred geometry- 21st November
• Your Divine 'I am presence'- Activating and consciously co-creating with your I AM presence. Feeling your christ conciousness, using I AM mantras to heal your self and be self empowered -12th December
• The 'communicating animals' Are we listening or ignoring? Developing your awareness with all animals wild and tame. Understanding their communication with out human projection.- January 2010

James french is back with his trust technique weekend with the horses on the 5th and 6th December. This is a lovely weekend learning how to share feelings with animals and how this can be incorporated in training with horses/ animals. Please contact for more info.

Jo Rose will be running a morning giving us a fun hands on intro to the benefits of kinesiology, massage, energy work and zoopharmacognosy ( oils and plants ) for horse/ animal health and wellbeing. The morning starts 9.30 -12.00 and costs £15 per person. Great for any animal owner who wants to start exploring different possibilities for their animal. Demonstrated with horses but no participants will have to interact with them if they do not wish to.

Carina, our osteomyologist is back here this weekend over the 21st and 22nd and is available to give treatments to humans and animals, please see our website for more info on what Carina does. She is listed under 'our team'. Please ring to book a slot.

Also don't forget we have our bare back riding lessons for anyone wishing to learn to ride or for the already established rider!
